…The tap dancing bards that are the inestimable Roger McGough CBE, and his slightly younger, poetic hoofer, Stewart Henderson return to The cornerHOUSE Community Arts Centre, Douglas Road, Surbiton, Surrey on Friday 20th November @ 7.30pm. for an evening of their poetry, show-biz sonnets and glittery stories of their encounters with those ‘who have gone on’. Tickets in advance @ £20.00 each from ticketsource.com

Between them Roger and Stewart have clocked up over 160 years of poetic experience, and appearances, which makes them older than Tennyson, if you follow their cosmic mathematics.  Please join Roger, ‘the patron saint of poetry’, and fellow Liverpudlian, Stewart, regarded by The Sunday Times as ‘essential reading’ for an evening of the stuff of life, soaring verse and page turning reminiscences. Joining Stewart will be his beloved Carol because…it’s the way she tells them.
